No posts in awhile.  I’m integrating this data model into one that can predict the probability of winning a particular game better than Vegas betting lines.  The 17,000 baseball players ranked and rated at baseball.brandylion.com/seasons is going into a real SQL database in order to make navigation of that site easier.  There is no search capability for example.

When they release the 2014 event files to retrosheet.org later this month I’ll run the hitting and pitching in RISP situations leaders as well as some other interesting stats.  There is no way of making many of these calculations without having the play by play events.
