At 28-24 they’re about the same as the Cubs.  Their BAT above average and PITCH around average.   Let’s see what the Ouija Board has to say.

PIT lineup=2 ==> CHN SP=4 / RP=1 == 4.63 runs PIT

This is  an even steven game with PIT paying the juice at 0.524 according to the market.  The lines started in Cubs’ favor of 0.548 and then settled.  Based upon win/loss records (DeltaWAA), this game is practically even.  CHN has a slight edge in tier combo runs scored as well so that looks pretty even too.  We’re all in agreement, both lines a complete discard.

A lot of slightly above average hitters add up to a TIER 2 above average lineup for Pittsburgh.   Cubs lineup skipped now because that is covered in team status.  The TIER combo section of the Ouija Board shows Cubs having a Tier 1 (best in league) lineup right now.

That is all for this series unless the lines become unstable.  Until then ….
